Happy birthday

Chasing myself in 10 years.

When I was younger, my focus was on material things. For my annual celebration, I wanted the next video game or console, a bike or sport tool, or simply getting the next ninja turtle toy to get lost in my imaginary world.

Today‘s my 34th birthday, and the focus has changed. Less material things because they are the latest fad, but more investments or things that will help move my interests and career needle forward. Some headphones for high quality calls with clients, an e-course to upskill for another service/product offering, or simply a travel item to maximise my globetrotting this year.

All this will change in ten years likely, as Matthew McConaughey inspired me a while back to look forward to who I want to be then, and work now towards becoming that person. The ‘person’ who I chase.

Forever chasing a better version of myself, and growing every day until I go into the long night.
